In 2005, an excerpt from FINAL CONFECTIONS, a novel-in-progress, was one of 30 winners in a field of 600 in the City of Boston's Poetry and Prose exhibit celebrating the life and lore of the Hub.

In 1993, under the pseudonym Mary Adams, I published FROM STREET TO STARDOM, a YA biography of Whoopi Goldberg (Dillon Press/Macmillan).
